Day 1 : Arrive Delhi.
Transfer to Hotel.
Day 2 : Delhi-Sariska (180 km )
Morning sightseeing of Delhi
: Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Humayun's Tomb, India Gate, drive past
President House. Afternoon departure for Sariska via Qutab
Minar.
Day 3 : Sariska-Jaipur (130 km)
Morning jeep safari through Sariska
Wildlife Park spread over 500 square km. Afternoon drive to
Jaipur.
Day 4 : Jaipur-Ranthambhore National Park (200 km)
Morning visit to Amber Fort on elephant. After a brief round of
Jaipur city, afternoon drive to Ranthambhore National Park
Day 5 : Ranthambhore National Park
Visit to the Park for nature watch and tiger tracking in open-top
jeep. Ranthambore is spread over an area of more than 400 sq
km and offers to view the ferocious Tiger in its natural habitat.
Day 6 : Ranthambhore National Park-Shivpuri (210 km)
Drive to
Shivpuri Wildlife Sanctuary. Evening jeep safari.
Day 7 : Shivpuri-Orchha-Khajuraho (300 km)
Morning drive to Khajuraho
via Orchha, a medieval city built by Bundelraja Bir Singh Deo in
the 17th century.
Day 8 : Khajuraho
Morning visit of the western group of temples
: Lakshman, Kandariya Mahadev, Chitragupta, Vishwanath, etc. Afternoon
visit of the eastern group of temples : Parshvanath Jain Temple.
Day 9 : Khajuraho-Bandhavgarh (290 km)
Drive to Bandhavgarh National
Park.
Day 10 : Bandhavgarh National Park
Jeep safari through the central
Indian Wildlife Park, another chance meeting with the Tiger.
Day 11 : Bandhavgarh-Varanasi (350 km)
Morning leave for Varanasi. Evening
sightseeing of Varanasi.
Day 12 : Varanasi-Lucknow (250 km)
Before sunrise drive to the
Ghats on River Ganga. Along the River on a boat viewing the Hindu
devotees taking their ritual morning bath. Drive to Lucknow.
Day 13 : Lucknow-Jim Corbett National Park (350 km)
Morning city
tour of Lucknow, the capital of the state of Uttar Pradesh. Drive
to Corbett Park.
Day 14 : Corbett National Park
Corbett National Park was established
in 1935. It covers an area of 324 sq km. Scenic beauty of flora
and fauna is at its ecstatic splendour here. Elephants, tigers,
bears, leopards, hyenas, crocodiles and plenty many other animals
live here. Jeep safari through the Park.
Day 15 : Corbett-Agra (300 km)
Drive to Agra. Evening visit
of Fatehpur Sikri, King Akbar's city, which was completed in 1574
and lived in for only 14 years. This expansive palace city
is made of red sandstone, the mosque and Sheikh Salim Chisti's Tomb
made of marble with fine filigree work.
Day 16 : Agra-Delhi (200 km)
Morning visit to The Taj Mahal and
the Fort. Leave for Delhi visiting Itimad-ud-Daulah's Tomb
and Sikandra. Arrive Delhi in the evening. Farewell Dinner
at Farmhouse. Transfer to Airport for onward flight out of
India.
