Destination: Delhi - Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Bharatpur - Jaipur - Ajmer - Chittaurgarh - Udaipur - Allora - Aurangabad - Mumbai

Day 1 Delhi
Late night arrival in Delhi and be met by our representative at the airport welcoming you to India with fresh flower garlands. Transfer to the hotel for immediate occupancy of the rooms already reserved for you.

Day 2 Delhi
Today explore the city of Delhi visiting Red Fort and thereafter a rickshaw drive up to Jama Masjid through the busy streets of Chandni chowk. There after continue to visit India Gate and Government buildings, Humayun’s Tomb and Qutub Minar. Overnight in Delhi.

Day 3 Agra
Early morning transfer to railway station to board Shatabdi express train for Agra. Full day city tour follows. Visit Sikandra- the tomb of the great Mughal emperor Akbar, the Agra Fort with its architecturally rich palaces and to top it all the Taj Mahal about which legion of tributes have been written. Overnight in Agra.

Day 4 Fatehpur Sikri, Bharatpur, Jaipur
Enroute to Jaipur you will visit Fatehpur Sikri - a palace complex housing the famous Buland Darwaza. On the way a brief stop over at Bharatpur bird sanctuary - breeding ground for Siberian crane during the season. Overnight in Jaipur.

Day 5 Jaipur
In the morning drive to Fort of Amer about 11 kms from Jaipur. The fort is a superb example of Rajput architecture stunningly situated on a hilltop and overlooking a lake which reflects its terraces and ramparts. A joyful and adventurous ride on an elephant back up to the ramparts. The other half of the day is spent in a visit around the pink city-visiting the great City Palace with its magestic grounds, the ancient 18th century Observatory and the Hawa Mahal (the palace of Winds). Overnight in Jaipur.

Day 6 Ajmer
In the morning drive from Jaipur to Ajmer (131 kms 2.5 hrs). On arrival you are taken on a tour of the city Ajmer including the Dargah- the tomb of a sufi saint Khwaza Muinuddin Chisti and Adhai Din Ka Jhopra named so because the construction took only two and half days. In the afternoon you are taken to the holy Pushkar. Here you can visit the renowned Brahma temple on the banks of the Pushkar lake and also you can see the Pushkar fair grounds famous for the annual fair being held every year in the month of November. Overnight in Ajmer.

Day 7 Chittaurgarh - Udaipur
Today drive from Ajmer to Chittaurgarh (187 kms 5 hrs). visit the grand Fort of Chittaur-epitomizing the romance of Rajput Chivalry. Thereafter proceed for Udaipur (113 kms 2.5 hrs). Overnight in Udaipur.

Day 8 Udaipur
In the morning tour of Udaipur City-which may be called Versailles of the east visiting Sahelion Ki Bari, the grandeur of City Palace, the famous Jagdish temple. Afternoon at leisure or on an extra payment a boat ride on lake Pichola with a brief halt at Jag Mandir. Overnight in Udaipur.

Day 9- Ellora - Aurangabad
Morning transfer to airport for onward flight to Aurangabad. Afternoon excursion to Ellora caves 30 kms away and known for sculptural excellence and a complex of 34 caves including 12 Buddhist 17 Hindu and 5 Jain caves. Overnight in Aurangabad.

Day 10 - Ajanta - Aurangabad
Full day excursion to Ajanta Caves (103 kms) known for its unique painting on the walls & ceilings of the caves. Ajanta caves unlike Ellora are magnificient rock-cut Buddhist caves consisting of the Monastries and five temples. Overnight in Aurangabad.

Day 11 Mumbai
Transfer to airport for onward flight to Mumbai. Afternoon half day city tour visiting the Gateway of India, Marine Drive, Hanging Gardens and the Prince of Wales Museum. Overnight in Mumbai.

Day 12
Morning excursion to Elephanta caves by boat- an island 9 kms from Gateway of India and reached by a regular ferry service. The caves have been cut from rocks with large sculptured interiors. Late evening transfer to airport for onward flight back home.
